Pisgah Forest, NC all Glammed Up in Gold!
Lesser Known Lake Alford, Dupont State Forest, NC

Hello Cozy October!

Hello October! Stay as long as you would like! I don't know about you, but October makes me think of all the colors of happiness! The yellows, oranges, and reds adorn our landscapes and delight our senses! Be sure to enjoy the cooler air, blue skies, bright foliage, and sunshine!

October is a wonderful month to get outdoors! Do you feel like you were cooped up all summer due to the heat? Summers can often feel that way! October is the perfect time to get back outdoors and enjoy the gifts of Mother Nature! This is one of my favorite times of year to hike in the forest. Temperatures are perfect, there are fewer bugs and bees, and the woods are covered with new things to explore! The beauty of the fall backdrop feels like a storybook sprinkled with crispy leaves, busy wildlife, and mushrooms. Check out my article about the beginner hiker in the link below!

Once again, thank you so much for being a part of my passion project, my blog!

See you in November!

Struggling to Get a Good Night's Sleep?

Getting a good night's sleep is not always easy. In fact, it is estimated that nearly 3 in 10 Americans struggle with insomnia! Yoga Nidra, aka yogic sleep, a guided body scan style meditation, is proven to help with insomnia along with many other things. Try my guided Yoga Nidra video in the link below. It may offer you the boost you need for more deep sleep.
