Cummings Cove Fitness Classes

Fall/Winter Schedule (Oct-May) Classes are included in the fitness package.

Tai Chi

Monday 10am

Jill McMillion teaches a Tai chi class that offers flowing exercises on both left and right sides of the body, we learn to appreciate the balance of yin and yang and the beauty of Tai Chi. You can also learn to memorize the movements in a specific order and concentrate on putting all the elements of breathing, posture, and movement into a beautiful flowing dance-like exercise.

Pilates

Tuesday 11:00am

A full body workout done while standing, sitting, and lying. Uses body movements to improve strength, balance, posture, and flexibility in the body. A great workout for the core and entire body.  Meet inside aerobics room.

 

Total Body Strength

Tuesday 10am, Wednesday 10am, Thursday 10am

A full body strength beginner friendly workout for all levels using your body weight as resistance as well as light weight work. Class will use body resistance to build strength and stability.  All equipment provided.  Meet inside the aerobics room.

Chair Fitness/Strength & Stretch

Wednesday 11:00am (alternate weekly)

Chair Fitness includes strength, stretching, balance, and light cardio. This is a well rounded class offering a seated and standing portion. 

Strength & Stretch offers a standing strength training work with dumbbells and body resistance. We will use a chair as a prop but the majority of the class will be done in a standing position. The will offer a well rounded class focused on building strength, flexibility, mobility, and balance. Meet inside the aerobics room.

Standing Strength

Wednesday  12:00pm

A full body standing strength and light cardio circuit workout.  This is a beginner-intermediate class using your body weight as resistance as well as dumbbell work. The entire class is done in a standing position. Each class offers balance work and stretches. All equipment provided. Meet inside the aerobics room.

Yoga Flow for Mobility

 Thursday 11am

All levels yoga flow class for mobility. This class offers yoga poses and dynamic movements that relieve tightness and stress. Each class offers a seated and standing sequence on the mat. Plenty of modifications are offered. Meet inside aerobics room.
