Finding happiness with balance.  The concept is a key principle to finding ease in living.  Harvesting Health and Happiness is an inclusive, adaptive blog providing healthy lifestyle tips that anyone can utilize and practice.   I wish to portray a platform which is accepting of anyone interested in my offerings.  Exercise and physical fitness can seem intimidating and out of reach for many.  However, when these concepts are practiced in small steps with an accepting approach the habits can be lifechanging.  Furthermore,  I believe in putting good out into the world in the hopes of lifting the collective one recipe, yoga video, or garden tip at a time.

 Finding Happiness With Balance.

Living and being.    Resting and resetting.   Eating whole foods.  Living within nature and cycles of time.   Moving with the flow of our bodies.  Embodying our true self.  Accepting and celebrating our physical, mental, and emotional bodies.

Recently I have became more vocal about talents and gifts.   Friends and coworkers have quizzed me for years about food choices and exercise activities. However, this is not something I entertained for public display.  I don’t claim to be an expert or a perfect writer.  However, I   practice my due diligence in my own research and respect the process of being a lifelong learner.  

Finding Happiness With Balance

The primary principal of all of my shared habits are finding happiness with balance and moderation.  Finding balance in our lives is the foundations for peace and harmony.  Balance in our food choices, activities, rest, and work improve our resiliency and overall health.  Stress levels and the hustle culture is alive and well in the world today.  This blog will offer writings that hopefully assists others in achieving a healthy work life balance.  

 

  • Harvesting Health and Happiness is about eating whole foods, eating with intention, eating with the seasons. Focusing on growing foods, living in cycle with nature, and healthy doses of exercise. This blog does not support diet culture, restrictive eating, or get fit quick schemes.  
  • We offer guided yoga practices, (be on the lookout for the first one this week) guided meditations, and habits for moving the body in a natural way.  Detailed exercise plans and routines with strict rules concerning duration and intensity is not the goal. 
  • We will Explore growing food and beauty in our backyards or in pots on our porches.  In addition, discussions about enjoying time in nature in the form of hiking, biking, walking barefoot on the earth, and forest bathing.  
  • Living and being… Resting and resetting… Embodying our true self… One healthy habit at a time.
